Because of the widespread awareness of the story of the evil Transylvanian count and the success of numerous film adaptations that have been created over the years, the modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure—a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters—with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

About the authors
Abraham "Bram" Stoker (8 November 1847 – 20 April 1912) was an Irish novelist and short story writer best known today for his 1897 Gothic novel, Dracula. During his lifetime, he was better known as personal assistant of actor Henry Irving and business manager of the Lyceum Theatre in London, which Irving owned.
Alan Cumming is the author of two books: Tommy’s Tale: A Novel of Sex, Confusion, and Happy Endings and the #1 New York Times best-selling memoir Not My Father’s Son. He has also had an exhibition of his photographs, Alan Cumming Snaps! His day job is acting, and most recently he was seen on TV as Eli Gold in the CBS drama The Good Wife, on Broadway in his Tony Award–winning role as the Master of Ceremonies in Cabaret, and in concert, touring the world with his cabaret show, Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, which was also released as a live album. Alan is also a loudmouth—sorry, activist—who believes that knowledge is power and equality is a right, not a privilege. Tim Curry was born in Grappenhall, England, in 1946. He shot to fame as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the stage (1973) and film (1975) productions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and later earned notice for his villainous movie and TV characters. Curry claimed his third Tony Award nomination in 2005 for his performance in Monty Python's Spamalot and has remained busy as a voiceover actor.

KATHERINE KELLGREN is a New York-based actress who works on stage and in film and television. She has recorded several award-winning audiobooks and numerous plays for radio, including one Peabody Award winner.

He has worked for numerous companies such as Jefferson Financial and Protective Life Insurance Co. and has managed portfolios totaling billions of dollars, but most of the author's financial knowledge has been gleaned from his recent foray into foodservice and the writings of forgotten 19th - century economists. He prefers his eggs over easy and his hashbrowns ''all the way''.
NICOLA BARBER has appeared on stage in New York and across the country, including with Scarlett Johnansson in The Nanny Diaries. She holds a degree in theatre arts from UNC-Chapel Hill, and has taken classes at the London Academy of Dramatic Art. She has been training and performing voiceovers since 2001, and can be heard in video games, animation, commercials, and corporate videos, as well as on award-winning audiobooks.

Marc Vietor is an actor, born in La Jolla, California, and now living in New York. He is a graduate of the Drama Division of the Juilliard School and Yale College, and has appeared in productions for The Roundabout Theatre Company, The Public Theatre, Theatre For A New Audience, The Red Bull Theatre, and Playwrights Horizons. He is also active in the audiobook world, having voiced a number of fiction and nonfiction works.
