Cheez 100 is Toronto-based artist Fiona Smyth's first 100 graphic panels from her celebrated comic Cheez, a comic that ran for many years in the monthly paper Xclaim! Luminously reproduced and accompanied by musings from six of Canada's best art writers, including Lynn Crosbie, Jane Farrow, Michael Holmes, Roy Mitchell, SiSi Penaloza and Gary Michael Dault.
About the authors
Fiona Smyth is a Toronto-based illustrator whose work has been published across North America. The Never Weres is her first graphic novel for young people.
RM Vaughan is a Toronto-?based writer and video artist originally from New Brunswick. His books include the poetry collections A Selection of Dazzling Scarves and Invisible to Predators, the novel A Quilted Heart, the play Camera, Woman and the novel Spells (ECW). Vaughan was the 1994-?95 Playwright in Residence at Buddies in Bad Times, and he writes about art and culture for a wide range of publications.
