Author Dan Azoulay has collected letters published in the "Correspondence" columns of the Western Home Monthly between 1905 and 1924 in this fascinating look at romance in the early Canadian West. Through these letters, lonely and isolated readers made connections, exchanged opinions on issues of the day, and sometimes, found their perfect match.

Dan Azoulay has taught in the Department of History at McMaster University. He is the author of Only the Lonely: Finding Romance in the Pages of Canada's Western Home Monthly, 1905-1924, as well as numerous articles on the history of the CCF.
