About the authors
Judy Ann Sadler was raised in a big, noisy family on a farm outside of London, Ontario. Ever since she can remember, she has loved to read, write and make things. She decided to combine her love of writing and crafts and has written 20 craft books, a picture book and features for Today's Parent Magazine. Her books have been published in many languages. Judy Ann works part-time for the London Public Library. She lives in Lambeth (London), Ont. with her husband, three kids and a dog named Maple.
Gwen Blakley Kinsler is a crochet designer and teacher whose work has been featured in many periodicals. She lives in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Biz Storms is an avid quilter and the author of Quilting. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.
Esperança Melo is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Animation Program and has completed an honors degree in graphic design from George Brown College. She has illustrated and designed several children’s books and loves working in various art forms and media, including sculpting in papiermâché. Esperança co-illustrated Drumheller Dinosaur Dance (Kids Can), which was awarded the 2005 Blue Spruce Award and the 2006 Chocolate Lily Award. Esperança was born in the Azores and now lives in Millbrook, Ontario.
