Full-color illustrations complement detailed accounts that cover habitat, nesting, feeding, voice, best sites for viewing and similar species and include a range map. A Quick Reference Guide organizes the species into color-coded family groupings. The book also includes a glossary of terms, checklist, appendix of accidental species and separate indexes for scientific and common names.
