About the authors
JEFFREY C. DOMM has had a lifelong interest in nature and wildlife. Over the past two decades he has illustrated more than 20 wildlife books, including the bestselling Formac Pocketguide to Nova Scotia Birds series. He has also created the Lorimer Pocketguide series.
In 2006 Jeffrey Domm was awarded the Mayor`s Prize for Book Illustration by the Mayor of Halifax for his body of work as a book illustrator.
Jeff lives and works close to the shores of Halifax Harbour, in the village of Cow Bay, Nova Scotia.

Bengi Kendrick is an amateur mycologist and naturalist and citizen scientist with ambitions of becoming a field biologist. His main wildlife interests are fungi, plants, parasites and pathogens. He lives in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.
