Description
"This collection is a chronicle of Theatre Direct's ever-evolving relationship to young people in Ontario. One can see as they read from beginning to end, how much has changed in thirty years. The world has changed, schools have changed, young people have changed… While the issues or subject matter has shifted to reflect the times, what remains constant is a compelling set of themes at the heart of the plays: relationships/intimacy, identity (cultural or sexual), violence or safety from, belonging/family, young people's potential to affect change, and the power of creation and imagination in a young person." —from the introduction
