In this book, Christine McLean, a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), tells you how to build, maintain, and strengthen a mindset that will get you, an immigrant, to reach the desired outcome. The book is filled with examples, how-to's, why's, and to do's for a future immigrant to make things happen for themselves and build a successful life in a new place. Excerpt: Your Break-Away Mindset: Start a New Life in a New Land (by (author) Christine McLean; photographs by Granby Photo)

As an Immigration consultant, I have worked with clients from all over the world who want to live permanently in Canada. I have seen the positive immigrant mindset repeatedly, and I see it as a growth mindset, fueling the future immigrant to change their lives.

In my book, I ask if you think like an immigrant? I am really asking you: do you have the unwavering ability to believe in something unknown? Can you see the unknown opportunities, and are you able to take the steps forward to get to the final goal? Yes, that invisible reality. This is what future immigrants are doing as they navigate the move to live in another land.

Editorial Reviews

"Great narrative with a motivating retrospective analysis of the process of becoming an immigrant. Nicely explained the how and why thinking as an immigrant is more than just getting the status, but definitely a tool that should become a lifestyle thinking".

Dr. Edgar Herrera Guzman

"Immigration advice at its best. Well-documented philosophical and practical discussions on strategies required to leave everything behind to start a whole new life successfully. Positive thinking to benefit everyone".
