While there are many books available on plant nutrition and physiology and others on soil physics and hydrology, there are few that combine these subjects in one volume. This book aims to fill this gap in the literature by providing an integrated approach to water dynamics in plant and cropproduction. It is in part a translation of an earlier work in German by Dr Ehlers, which has been updated and expanded to include more international examples.
