About the author
Champion of Annapolis history, artist and Charlotte Perkins was born in Annapolis Royal in 1878. Known locally as Lottie, she worked tirelessly documenting the town's prestigious past, writing and illustrating The Romance of Old Annapolis Royal in 1921.
