About the authors
My parents were business people and holidays were particularly important to all of us. We celebrated all of them with family and friends, and cooked many dishes that became family traditions.I became a teacher and loved the excitement of decorating the classroom, exchanging holiday recipes and writing stories. Now I had two passions: story writing and food preparation. Read and Bake with Grandma is the culmination of my two loves. In this book you will find stories, poems and recipes that coincide with holidays throughout the year. The stories begin with New Year's Day and end with Christmas. It is my hope that you will enjoy reading and baking with your family and friends.
