Caroline's plays have been produced all across Canada in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Quebec and Ontario. Theatre companies which have premiered her plays include: The Glenmore Dinner Theatre (Scrooge - The Female Version, Scheme-a-Dream Christmas, From Here to Insanity and Moments of Madness), The Marquee Dinner Theatre (In the Cards), CBC radio (Search for the Stampede) and Lunchbox Theatre (A Butler Did It andMr. Fix It) and Solar Stage, Toronto (Mounting Sex in the Afternoon Zone).

Caroline was playwright-in-residence with The Glenmore Dinner Theatre for four years. She also was the Petro Canada Stage One Literary Manager for Lunchbox Theatre for three years. Caroline is a member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturges of the Americas.

Caroline has been the recipient of many grants and awards. In 1997 both of her plays Lucky Four and Pigeon Among the Cats both won Honorable Mentions in the National Playwriting Competition. Other awards include The Alberta Playwriting Competition (first prize, one act), the New Play Development Program (two-time winner) and five Alberta Foundation for the Arts senior writer’s grants. She was also nominated for a Betty Mitchell Theatre Award for her play Mr. Fix It. She served as Vice President of The Playwrights Union of Canada (PUC), where she has been a member for over 25 years. She also served as provincial union representative and for two years she worked with the national editorial board, adjudicating scripts for Playwrights' Canada Press. Caroline also sat on the Public Lending Right Commission, travelling to Ottawa twice a year. Currently she is the Southern Alberta rep with David Belke.

Scenes and monologues from her work have been published four times by Playwrights Canada Press. Favourite comedies include From Here To Insanity, Mounting Sex in the Afternoon Zone, A Butler Did It and In the Cards which are all published chapbooks with Playwrights Union of Canada. She has also been included in four anthologies by Playwrights Canada Press. She wrote the first book of its kind Strategies: The Business of Being a Playwright in Canada, (with Rose Scollard) which was published by Playwrights Canada Press.
