About the authors
A native Newfoundlander, Susan Pynn Taylor is a professional writer with a background in marketing and communications. She has traveled throughout North America, but always finds her way back to her island home. Susan is a devoted wife and mother, with a love for children, literature, and nature. At Nanny's House is her fifth book for young readers, following her success in 2007 with A Puppy Story (Creative, 2007), The Colours of my Home: A Portrait of Newfoundland and Labrador (Creative, 2007), The Jelly Bean Row (Creative, 2011) and On Poppy's Beach (Creative, 2013).
David Sturge is a graphic designer and illustrator who was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland where he currently resides. He studied commercial art and graphic design at The College of The North Atlantic. David has previously illustrated, On Poppy's Beach (Creative, 2013).
