Description

Dr. Henderson based his book on the British Pharmacopoeia, and the revisers have included the preparations in the fourteenth revision of the United States Pharmacopoeia, pointing out differences and similarities in terminology and usage. Drugs are arranged by English rather than Latin titles.
About the authors
James K.W. Ferguson (1932-1999) was a professor of pharmacy and pharmacology at the University of Toronto.
George H.W. Lucas was a medical doctor in Toronto and a professor of pharmacy and pharmacology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Lucas, along with Dr. Henderson, was accredited with having discovered the anesthetic cyclopropane.
