Description

More than an identification guide, this natural history birding guidebook looks at the Maritimes' most common species in detail, allowing experienced and amateur birders alike to learn more about the birds they are most likely to spot.

Gibson's Guide to Birdwatching and Conservation also profiles notable maritime birders and includes mini-biographies of bird researchers (professional scientists) and stewards (volunteers) to explain how humans are working to protect and preserve these species in the Maritimes.

About the authors
