Description

In June 1812, the United States declared war on Britain and focused its guns on the empire’s nearest colonial outpost: Canada. Over the next two and a half years much blood was spilled on both sides of the border. Two hundred years later, combatants on both sides of the War of 1812 celebrate victory. However, among the ashes of historic battle sites surrounding the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River are still-whispering wraiths and unresolved spirits to keep the images of war alive.
