He's friendly. He's responsible. He can even be funny... Sometimes. But Gary is no Casanova. He could be your co-worker. He could be your neighbor. But could he be your boyfriend? Luc Bossé created Éditions Pow Pow in 2010. The French version of Gary, King of the Pickup Artists, was among the first books he published. Since then, Pow Pow has kept him quite busy. But he managed to release the tongue-in-cheek Comment faire de l'argent (How to Make Money) in 2014 and is in the process of completing a sequel to King of the Pickup Artists. He lives in Montréal. Gary, King of the Pick-up Artists, Alexandre Simard's debut book, won the Expozine Award for "Best comic" when it was first released in French in 2010. He is currently working on a few new projects - including Yves, fidèle à lui-même, a sequel to his previous graphic novel. He also lives in Montréal.

Alexandre Simard published his first illustrated book at the age of seven. It received warm reviews, except from his younger brother, who couldn't read yet. Alexandre later studied film at university. He wrote a few screenplays, none of which were made into films. Alexandre Simard's debut graphic novel Yves, le roi de la cruise (published in English as Gary: King of the Pick-up Artists), won the Expozine Best Comic Award in 2010, and was followed in 2018 by a sequel, Yves, fidèle à lui-même. He lives in Montréal and is currently working on a few new projects.
