Description

From global famine to fast-food fat, from mad cows to depleted soil, the world’s most pressing problems of food require ingenious, practicable solutions. The brilliant and innovative contributors to Feeding the Future serve them up.

In this follow-up Ingenuity Project volume to their bestselling Fueling the Future, editors Andrew Heintzman and Evan Solomon have gathered together some of the world’s leading thinkers on food, including Kelly Brownell, Frances Moore Lappé and Anna Lappé, Ian MacLachlan, Carl Safina, and David Wheeler. Their examples of ingenuity encompass emerging technologies, business models for sustainable food production, and solutions to the world’s obesity epidemic.
