Based on a core theme of "inclusion", this text examines the spectrum of adapted physical activity from school, community, and international disability sports perspectives. This comprehensive examination provides the reader with a unique and up to date insight into the scope of adapted physical activity. The text deals with a variety of important issues ranging from the provision of equal access to active living opportunities, schools and communities, to instructional and educational issues, to the history of disability sport and issues regarding sports performance in athletes with disability.
