In A Taste of Toronto, Hetty Blythe captures the many faces of this vibrant metropolis in a series of superb sepia sketches. Her portraits of Toronto landmarks are fleshed out by Helen Duckworth’s lively commentary on the city and its people. And because Torontonians love good food, A Taste of Toronto presents a sampling of some 50 great Toronto recipes, many courtesy of the fine restaurants where you may enjoy these taste delights. Helen obtained an Arts degree, majoring in English, from the University of Queensland in 1975. After taking a Graduate Diploma in Education at the North Brisbane College of Advanced Education, she spent several years teaching. With a long-time interest in cityscapes and lifestyles, Helen has recently completed a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning.

A winner of seven art awards, Hetty is a graduate in Fine Arts from the South Australian College of the Arts. Hetty majored in painting and since graduating from college has led an active and successful career as a freelance artist and designer. She has also spent many years teaching painting, drawing, design, and etching. Hetty's talents are currently being applied to writing and illustrating a book on design.
