The curious cast includes banjo-playing cane-wielding Joe from “Cajun land,” his Japanese wife adorned in a floral kimono, their Spanish friends, and a Buddhist monk. The narrated story is followed by recordings of the songs “Sunday in Kyoto” and “1,2,3, ABCD”.
