Lesley Anne Cowan has a B.A. in English Literature and a Diploma in Education from McGill University. She is also a graduate of the Humber School for Writers. As She Grows was shortlisted for the 2001 Chapters / Robertson Davies First Novel Contest. Lesley currently resides in Toronto, where she is a secondary school teacher working with at-risk youth.
