Kathy was born and lives in St. John’s with her son, Benjamin.  As a primary teacher she enjoys writing stories or poems to enhance lessons.  During the days when she taught music, parts often had to be written for school concerts.  And for many years Sunday school pageants have kept her busy.  However, nothing can compare to the adventure of writing Nana's Quilt.  What learning and what fun! Kathy teaches grade one at Hazelwood Elementary school in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
