Adam Lewis Schroeder is the author of three previous books: Kingdom of Monkeys (Raincoast Books, 2001), Empress of Asia (Raincoast Books, 2006) and In the Fabled East (Douglas & McIntyre, 2011), which was a finalist for the 2011 Commonwealth Writersí Prize for Best Book, Canada/Caribbean region, and chosen as one of Amazon.caís best books of the year.
