This is one of a new series of Q&A based business assessment guidebooks from Bold World Books. It uses a question and answer format to evaluate an organization's project culture and the health of its most important projects against the standards established by the Project Management Institute. The book is organized as a series of checklist questionaires that look for the key important characteristics of a highly performing project culture including the overall business culture, benefits realization, the project manager cadre and the processes the organization uses. Additional questions look into the management of scope, risk, cost, time, customers, human resources, quality, purchasing and the business aspects for individual projects and enable the investigation of root causes for troubled projects.

Lawrence Hobbs, the editor of Bold World Books' new "What You Need To Ask" series of business books, is himself an author and management consultant.
