Vistas of the West is a collection of poetry and visual art that celebrates the beauty and spirit of the Rocky Mountains, Western foothills, prairie landscapes, and the natural inhabitants of these beautiful environments.

Book readings and art exhibitions in Fall 2019 took place in Calgary, Edmonton, Turner Valley, Banff, and Bragg Creek, Alberta. Author and editor royalties were donated to Days for Girls International, daysforgirls.org.

Doris Daley’s love of wordsmithing has made her one of North America’s favourite Western poets, emcees, and Western humorists. Born and raised on a family ranch in the foothills of Alberta, Doris’ authentic, sparkling poetry has taken her to campfires large and small, to highways, roundabouts and gravel roads all throughout the West.
