The married couple, Lauesen and Petersen, although independent as artists, share ideas, aesthetic sensibilities, and unique expressions that are responses to the world around them. This exhibition explores recent work by each artist, both of whom continue to invent different ways to provide meaningful glimpses from inside a world of imagination, without resorting to a facile certainty of translati0ns-into-realism nor to the illusion of profundity within transport-into-symbolism. Included are paintings, sculpture, screenprinting and ceramics.
