Description

The perfect blend of romantic suspense and danger, “Vintage Death” shows us the complexity of family relationships and how important—and dangerous—families can be.

“Suspension of Disbelief” takes a sideways glance at the complex relationship between a bestselling writer and his editor. A story where the familiar tension between art and commerce deliver a punch line that is simultaneously funny and disturbing.

In “A Calculated Risk,” a former covert operative, Tom Bailey now runs a fishing charter in the Bahamas as a cover for his more lucrative people-smuggling service. His new client wants to be smuggled into Haiti and back out again. This gig could pave the way for Tom to go legit, if it doesn’t get him killed.

Murder and mysticism meet in “The Fifth World.” The Mayan Calendar and its prophecies had always seemed academic to Tess Mitchell, but in this chilling tale, they come alive in uncertain, frightening new ways.

“Ghost Writer” is a compelling portrayal of a disillusioned author who asks a question that we all must answer eventually. Are we the authors of our own destiny, or is our fate already written?
