Description
Tails from the Vault was curated by members of Lethbridge’s Trap\door Artist-Run Centre, and featured works from the University of Lethbridge Art Collection that employ images of animals in literal and conceptual ways. This playful exhibition included well-known Canadian artists such as Joe Fafard, David Thauberger, Rita McKeough and Chris Cran. The accompanying publication is composed of found imagery, animal-themed games, full-colour reproductions of the works displayed, a foreword by University of Lethbridge Art Gallery Director/Curator Josephine Mills, and essays by the curators, Kelaine Devine, Chai Duncan, and Brenna Kanski.
