About the authors
Jennifer Harper is passionate about teaching and learning. She is a teacher at Upper Canada College and has more than 15 years of experience teaching at the Primary, Junior, and Intermediate grade levels in both public and private schools. With a degree in English and Theatre and a Masters in Curriculum, Jennifer is constantly experimenting with a variety of strategies to engage students and help them succeed. Jennifer currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.

Kathryn O’Brien has taught grades 3–6 in Ontario’s public schools, abroad, and in private schools. She currently works as Primary Art teacher at Upper Canada College. With a Masters in Curriculum and an insatiable curiosity about what makes learning fun, she never stops looking for ways to capture the learning spark and bring it into her teaching practice. Kathryn currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.
