About the authors
Marion Alice Davison was born on January 2, 1931.
Raised, educated and married in King’s County, Nova Scotia, she is the mother of five children, all married, and has fourteen grandchildren. She resides in Hants County, Nova Scotia with her husband of thirty-five years.
Audrey J. Marsh was born at Windsor, Nova Scotia on November 17, 1911.
She acquired her early education in that town, with teacher training at Truro and Halifax, and taught for twenty-eight years in elementary schools of the province. Smoke Over Grand Pré was her first novel. Some of her work, including poetry, articles and short stories, has been published in local magazines and periodicals.
