Excerpt: Scrub: How a Simple Soap Saved the Day (by (author) Suzanne Belliveau)

In a little pink dish on a shelf by the tub Lived a simple soap bar who called himself Scrub. Scrub was perfectly plain and remarkably flat, He sprang into action in time for the bath.

Scrub bounced off the belly like a big trampoline Then slid down the arms, leaving everything clean. He scoured the armpits, then peeked through the toes, Slipped into tight spaces where no one else goes.

This story is pure fun from start to finish! A timely read aloud for the importance of health and hygiene- a perfect choice for teachers and parents hoping to teach the importance of hand washing. Do not pass this one up!
