Description
Sam and Nate tells the story of a developing friendship between two boys. Through letters, notes, school projects, a pregnant teacher and a substitute who has never taught children before, Sam and Nate support each other as best they can, but get into some funny scrapes while they're at it.
About the authors
PJ Sarah Collins is a Grade 3 teacher living in British Columbia. She was born and bred in the Lower Mainland, is passionate about all things green, and loves family life with her husband and three young kids. She loves gardening, bicycling with her kids, playing soccer, co-leading her school choir, volunteering at a neighbourhood JUMP Math Club, and looking for ways to see green initiatives succeed in her community.

"We're almost dinosaurs," said Sam.
"Almost twin dinosaurs." said Nate.
Then Nate and Sam decided to wear only green to school.
"Now we're really dinosaurs," said Nate.
"Pretty close," said Sam.
Then Sam and Nate decided to eat only green food like sushi, green Kool-Aid and kiwis.
"We're pretty Jurassic," said Sam.
"We're prehistoric," said Nate.
