About the author
Marain Zinck’s passion for botany has steadily grown since childhood, when her grandmother inspired her to collect and press plants. Zinck attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural Collage from 1979-1983, where Dr. Albert Roland was still very much presence. Her decade-long involvement with Roland’s Flora began in 1988 when she was Honours Botany student at Acadia University. Since that time, Ms. Zinck had played an increasingly vital role in the evolution of Roland’s Flora, building upon Dr. Roland’s work, and ultimately creating a practical modern guide to Nova Scotia’s plants. Price: $75.00 for the set of two volumes.
