Description
Introduce young readers to the mystery, wonder, and beauty of the quarter of our world that’s frozen with this picture book companion to the BBC Earth series Frozen Planet narrated by Sir David Attenborough.
In the sparkling kingdom of the frozen parts of Earth, there are amazing animals who survive bitter snowstorms, towering icebergs, and frozen seas. Dive under the ice to swim with seal pups, meet a Greenland shark who is likely 250 years old, and spot a snoozing windy walrus. Watch orcas sneak up on whales as they relax in the spa and hold your breath as wolves play a deadly game of hide-and-seek in a frozen forest in this fascinating nonfiction picture book.
