David Aston is an award-winning financial journalist, focusing on retirement, personal finance, and investments. He has written for leading publications and websites, such as MoneySense, The Globe and Mail, Morningstar, and Canadian Business. He is particularly well known for writing the regular 'Retirement' feature in MoneySense for eight years, one of the magazine's most popular and well-read features on a regular basis.
He has received five Canada Awards for Excellence in Investment Journalism from the Portfolio Management Institute of Canada and four National Magazine Awards. In 2014, he was named Journalist of the Year by the Toronto CFA Society, and was a finalist for the 2013 award.
His journalism career follows a 20-year career in management consulting, corporate operations, and corporate financial planning. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. He has an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University and an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto.

Jonathan Chevreau is a veteran financial columnist, blogger and author. He was personal finance columnist for the Financial Post (1993 - 2012), and editor-in-chief of MoneySense magazine (2012-14). Since declaring his Findependence Day in 2014, he has been blogging for the Motley Fool, Financial Post and MoneySense.ca, and launched the Financial Independence Hub in 2014, a website that covers the topic from a North American perspective. He has published US and Canadian editions of his financial novel Findependence Day and is also the author of The Wealthy Boomer and several editions of Smart Funds.

Dan Bortolotti is the author of nine books of nonfiction and has written dozens of feature articles for magazines and newspapers in Canada and the US. Dan writes a blog on investing called Canadian Couch Potato. In 2011, it was selected by The Globe and Mail as the best investing blog in Canada.
