About the authors
Jack M. Mintz is the President’s Fellow of the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary, and he received the Order of Canada in 2015 and the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 for service to the Canadian tax policy community.
Tom Flanagan is Distinguished Fellow in the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary. Former director of research for the Reform Party, and former campaign manager for Stephen Harper's Conservative Party, he is the author of Harper's Team: Behind the Scenes in the Conservative Rise to Power.
Ted Morton is a former cabinet minister in the Alberta government, and is currently Executive-in-Residence at the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary and Senior Fellow, Energy and Environment, at the Manning Foundation.
