Description
Milutin Gubash examines the overlap of history, humour and authenticity found in the multifaceted practice of Montreal-based artist, Milutin Gubash. Often cast as the lead alongside his family and friends, Gubash employs narrative to blur the boundaries between real, lived lives and the people that we wish we were. Published in concert with a series of exhibitions across Canada, each highlighting the past decade within the artist’s practice, Milutin Gubash includes curatorial texts, full colour photographic documentation, and a DVD compilation of selected works.
Co-published by Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, Carleton University Art Gallery, Musee d'art de Joliette, Rodman Hall Art Centre, and Southern Alberta Art Gallery.
