Description
This exhibition presents large, digitally generated and digitally produced works by an artist who continues to examine and represent reflections on her own past and present. The new work expands a series that started with an exhibition several years ago: Mavoureen Recycled, and was carried on in anouther: Journeys Through the Americas. Physically geographically, Trainor begins in Mexico, and she eventually arrives in northwestern Ontario where she is currently based in Thunder Bay. Her work is not merely a journal of a trip over years but the psychological and social excursion from one language and culture to another, all held in the crucible of the imagination where change and transformation can be examined and made sensible.
