About the author

Dr. Martha Hickman Hild received her PhD in Geology from the University of Leeds, and is a member of the American Geophysical Union. She has worked in both educational and technical publishing, and served at Memorial University in a range of administrative roles. She lives in the community of Flatrock near St. John's.
