Description
A collection of gripping stories from Canada's north.
Artist and author Bern Will Brown presents a series of fascinating tales of some of the most unforgettable characters he has encountered during his own remarkable life in Canada's north.
Brown introduces his readers to dreamers and mystics, priests and prophets, traders and sailors, artists and explorers, all of whom find their way into this affectionate collection of memorable individuals.
'Brown records the change of eras in well-structured paragraphs that should withstand the test of time in much the same way his hand-hewn churches withstand Arctic winters.' - Canadian Geographic
