Clarky has just tried to kill himself, but has ended up instead in the ICU of a Regina hospital. In the waiting room three of his old friends have gathered: Rae and Amy flying in from their new big–city lives, and Josh, who stayed in Regina. During a long winter night, the three share laughter, tears, and some long–concealed truths about themselves and their lives. About the author
Comedian and writer Shoshana Sperling grew up in Regina and is now based in Toronto. She has written and performed in many plays, including The Golden Mile, The Regina Monologues, and The Rise and Fall of Vella Dean, for which she earned a Canadian Comedy Award nomination. She has made numerous contributions to radio and television, including CBC’s Comics and CTV’s The Jann Arden Special. She is also a veteran of the Just For Laughs Festival.
