Originally from New York, and with a degree in Fine Art and Design from Carnegie Mellon University, she has worked extensively in many areas, including historical illustration, children's books and magazines, cartooning, portraiture, wildlife illustrations, natural sciences, advertising, fantasy, and science fiction.
