About the authors
Dan Cattoni and Lori Kerr met in 2005 when they were both working in Parry Sound, Ontario. These two outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking, kayaking and camping together. When Dan completed his float flying at Georgian Bay Airways in Parry Sound, they both moved to Kelowna, British Columbia.
Inspired by the beauty of British Columbia, Lori purchased a Nikon camera. With Dan as her mentor, they spent most of their free time exploring and photographing southern British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and northern California.
They decided to move to Yellowknife when the unique opportunity arose for Dan to work at Buffalo Airways. Lori found employment in the laboratory at Stanton Territorial Hospital. Their northern adventure was ready to take shape.
They bought their first home in Yellowknife and soon discovered that the house was too quiet. They have now a Miniature and a Giant Schnauzer.
