About the author
Contributor Notes
The poetry, fiction, and literary nonfiction of Toronto writer Susan Ioannou have been widely published in literary journals and books across Canada. For many years, she led a variety of writing workshops, served as Associate Editor of Cross-Canada Writers’ Magazine, and for Wordwrights Canada created the online course Lessons in Writing the Poem.
Editorial Reviews
"She is a wonderful instructor: her tone is familiar rather than academic, her analysis is fluid and clear, and examples are brief and apt. And these are just a few of the book’s virtues. Ioannou also draws almost exclusively upon Canadian examples.” - Rob Thomas, WORD
