About the authors
Niko Stratis is a culture writer based in Toronto, Ontario. Her work has appeared in Spin, Xtra, Autostraddle, Paste, Bitch, Catapult, and in her newsletter, Anxiety Shark. Her forthcoming collection of essays, The Dad Rock That Made Me a Woman, is slated to be published through the American Music Series at the University of Texas in early 2025. Niko is also working on her debut novel, Girls of Summer, a punk rock novel about three friends spending a life-altering day at the Vans Warped Tour in 2001. Niko handles the Canadian side of Girl Dad Press.
Tuck Woodstock is a journalist and educator based in Brooklyn. He is the creator of the award-winning Gender Reveal podcast, a co-founder of Sylveon, and a founding member of the Trans Journalists Association. He has provided editorial consulting for clients ranging from "This American Life" to Sony Pictures, and provides educational trainings for newsrooms around the world. Tuck has previously worked as a protest reporter, a food writer, and the editor of the Portland visitors guide. Tuck handles the US side of Girl Dad Press.
