Toronto-based J.M Frey (pronounced “fry”) is the author of the science fiction novel "Triptych".<br />

J.M. Frey is also a fanthropologist and pop culture scholar, appearing in podcasts, documentaries, and on television to discuss all things geeky through the lens of academia.<br />

While TRIPTYCH is her debut novel, other publications include poems with ‘In My Bed Magazine’ and poems in the international literary magazine 'The White Wall Review', as well as articles in Japan’s 'Fukuoka Now' magazine and Reader’s Digest’s 'Our Canada Magazine'. She won the award for Best Short Story of 2007 from Dragon*Con’s Stargate Offworld Zine, and her sci-fi novella “Back” was published with Silverthought Press in the 2008 Spring quarter. Her short story “The Once And Now-ish King” was published in the Dragon Moon Press Anthology “When the Hero Comes Home” in August, 2011.
