Description

A LOVE STORY: An inviting narrative voice alongside bright and colorful illustrations give the book the feel of a modern classic.

Just to Be With You is a book about the lengths we go to in order to show our love for someone. To prove her love and make her way back to her family, the narrator goes on an expedition around the world, trekking through shark-infested waters and treacherous mountain winds, and doing the scariest thing of all — singing solo on a stage in a room packed with people! Along the way, she collects hearts and characters from each adventure who take her to the next big challenge. Written as a love letter to family and friends, Just to Be With You is a testament to all of the daring things we do for love.

Contributor Notes

Libby Glover is a mother, nutritionist, and lifelong learner. She loves being outdoors and is passionate about her family and spending time with those she loves. Libby wrote Just to Be With You years ago when she was an elementary school teacher, but it wasn't until 2020 that she began to collaborate with her daughter, Meg, to bring the story to life. Together, they have worked to realize her vision, with Meg's brilliant and captivating artworkbeautifully expressing the lengths we will go to for love. Libby lives with her husband and pup, Mojo, in Toronto, Canada.
Meg Glover is a Toronto-based illustrator who goes by Meggidoodles, a nickname her parents gave her when she was younger that stuck in a big way! In her artwork, Meg aims to take inspiration from everyday experiences in her relationships, dreams, fears and emotions to bring the ordinary to life, in full, vibrant color! While working on doodles and commissions is Meg's favorite pastime, illustrating the pages for Just to Be With You has been her mostpassionate project to date. Getting to work side-by-side with her mum, Libby, has been an amazing adventure, and she already can't wait for their next mother-daughter project.
