Born on Mauritius Island, Diya Lim completed university in France and has lived in Canada since 2000. It is with pleasure that she lives and works in French in Ontario, where she collaborates with publishing companies and cultural organizations in order to inspire a love of reading and writing in children all over the country. Diya Lim has written around twenty books for children. She is the winner of the 2019 Trillium Award for children's books and the 2011 Henriette-Major Literary Award.

Pascale Constantin has illustrated several children's books, some of which have been nominated for the Governor General's Award (3 times), the Blue Spruce Award, the Mr. Christie Prize, and the Quebec/Wallonia-Brussels Prize. More recently, she has illustrated several interactive applications and games and collaborated on numerous school book projects.
