Description
There’s music in the air in the Jingle Jangle Jungle!
Music has caught the ears of one very sleepy Bear. Bear’s friends Moose, Zebra, Lion and Sheep have formed a band, and since Bear is already awake, they invite him to join. But first they’ll have to find him just the right instrument to play. He tries the drums, the guitar and the trumpet. Turns out he’s a very noisy bear. Then finally he tries the microphone, and it seems Bear has found just the right instrument to play.
Now in board book—this delightful story is just right for the toddler set!
About the author
Nick a depuis signé plusieurs autres livres à succès. Il vit à Darwin, en Australie.
NICK BLAND always wanted to be a writer and a cartoonist, but it wasn’t until he started working in a bookstore and rediscovered children's literature that he found a way to channel this ambition. He is the author of The Runaway Hug and The Magnificent Tree and author and illustrator of The Fabulous Friend Machine, King Pig, Monster Chef, A Monster Wrote Me A Letter, Some Dad’s, Some Mums, Twinkle, The Unscary Book and the Cranky Bear picture books. Nick lives in the jungle near Darwin, Australia.

Editorial Reviews
Praise for Nick Bland:
“The Very Cranky Bear is a delightful tale in verse and sprinkled it with alliteration that rolls off one’s tongue as a read aloud. This adorable, vocabulary enriched story teaches young children the power of humility and consideration over pride and vanity.” —CM: Canadian Review of Materials (The Very Cranky Bear)
“It is very rhythmic in tone with funny twists of phrase that make you laugh and think at the same time.” —CM: Canadian Review of Materials (The Very Itchy Bear)
“The Very Hungry Bear is a pleasure to read and is one book I can see myself pulling out for story times again and again.” —CM: Canadian Review of Materials (The Very Hungry Bear)
